Well, we are not forecasters. We just read between the lines, follow trends, and most importantly, listen very carefully to what Leatrice Eiseman has to say. Tangerine Tango is the Pantone color of the year 2012. Does this mean that everything goes Orange. No. But bright palettes with strong visual color pairing are in. And Orange remains a top colour for designers to play with. But where do we think 2013 will take us? At this moment in time, we see bright palettes pouring into the first half of 2013. Great colour pairing like Oranges and Pinks are hot hot hot. Now, if I was a gambling man (which I am not), I would expect to see some Avocado greens and Peacock blues for 2013. (with a hint of purple perhaps) And with major international events in Brazil - an obvious thought would be green/yellow/dark blue palettes towards the end of 2013 into 2014.
